PURPOSE:To set an optional password code and to prevent the invalidity of the robbery preventing function by making use of the 1st code and the optional 2nd code stored in a nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:When the optional 2nd code SC2 is set, a device start unit 12 checks whether the 1st code SC1 is stored at a specific position of an EAROM or not. Then the setting of the code SC2 is permitted through an input unit 14 only when the code SC1 is stored in the EAROM. When the device is used, the unit 12 can perform the normal operation of the device only in case the code SC1 is stored in the specific position of the EAROM and also the code supplied from the unit 14 is coincident with the code SC2. |
