PURPOSE:To prevent a moving member from being moved due to external impact, by arranging three connecting sections of a lever rotatably and by arranging two of them at least slidably along the axial direction of the lever. CONSTITUTION:When current is not fed to a linear pulse motor and a moving member 1 stops and external impact is applied, then the same moment is generated on the both end sections of a lever 26, and so the lever 26 is not rotationally moved. Accordingly, the moving member 1 and a carriage 20 are not moved, and the moving member 1 can be prevented from being moved due to the impact. The carriage 20 and the moving member 1 are arranged in parallel with each other, and so the longitudinal length of a floppy disc device can be shortened.
