<p>PURPOSE:To increse the maintenance force of watertight capability, and to prevent immersion to water by forming a predetermined taper outside an inserting port for a cabtyre while fitting an O ring and inserting the rubber mold of the cabtyre cord to which a tapered section is formed. CONSTITUTION:The inserting port 4 for the cabtyre is formed to a cover 3 as one part of a shell, a first stage diameter expanded port 5 with a larger inner diameter and a second stage diameter expanded port 6 with a smaller inner diameter are formed to the inserting port 4 in succession from the outside, and a section between the first stage and second stage diameter expanded ports 5, 6 is continued by the taper 7 while the O ring 8 is fitted to the bottom 6a of the second stage diameter expanded port 6. The tapered section 13 at the same angle of the tapere 7 is formed to the rubber mold 12 of the cabtyre cord. The rubber mold 12 is inserted into the inserting port 4 for the cabtyre, and a ring- shaped hold-down plate 15 is brought into contact onto the upper side stepped surface 14 of the tapered section 13 and fixed by a screw 16. Accordingly, the O ring 8 rolls upward on the tapered section 13 while the tapered section 13 can be brought into contact with the taper 7 by pressure.</p> |
