A portable gas burner is disclosed. According to the present invention, the portable gas burner comprises: a body which has an accommodation space for accommodating a portable gas tank; a burner head which is exposed from an upper surface of the body and is provided with a crater forming a flame by spraying a gas supplied from the a portable gas tank; and a knob which is formed on one side of the body and is configured to control the formation of the flame through the crater, wherein upper heat discharge holes are formed in the upper surface of the body between the burner head and the accommodation space to upward discharge air heated inside of the body. According to the present invention, since the upper heat discharge holes are formed in the upper surface of the body to upward discharge the heated air, the heated air can be easily discharged through the upper heat discharge holes even when the portable gas tank is heated. In particular, when the air heated inside the body is transferred to the accommodation space, a portion of the air can be discharged through the upper heat discharge holes, thereby preventing the portable gas tank from being unnecessarily heated. A flow of the air discharged through the upper heat discharge holes prevents the flame formed by the crater from being transferred to the portable gas tank, thereby preventing the explosion of the portable gas tank caused by a heat. |
