The ends of two belt parts (12,13) are folded to form two loops (14,15) into which are inserted two arms (7,8) of a lock component (6) provided that two incorporated hooks (10,11) encompass the side (4) of the frame. Then the lock component is released, and rests against the upper side of the lock frame (1). The free belt ends (16,17) are drawn outwards and during this process (provided the belt parts are untensioned) the two arms of the lock component are subjected to inwardly directed force. As soon as the belt part located around the item being retained commences to be tensioned, and the tractive tension is the same as that of the belt at the free draw ends outwardly directed forces act on the arms of the lock component, pressing the belt part in a gap against a first frame side (2,3). Pressure forces thus increase with increasing belt tension in the belt section around the item required. |
