PURPOSE:To shorten the time for copying by reading divided images made by dividing an image recorded in a film into plural image areas as independent picture image and recording the divided image one by one in a recording medium up to the number of sheets designated by a number of sheet designating means. CONSTITUTION:An image recorded in a film is divided into plural image areas and read by an image dividing and reading means (a), and the divided images are sent out to a recording means (b) through a record controlling means (d) as independent means image. On the other hand, the record controlling means (d) controls the recording means (b) to record in a recording medium one by one up to the number of sheet of recording designated by a designating means (c). Thus, time for copying can be shortened.
