PURPOSE:To adjust the quantity of strain with high precision and to improve yield by working a notch to a larger quantity of strain previously, and finishing the notch to a set quantity of strain while applying or grinding an adhesive which has small rigidity, bit by bit, in a finishing process. CONSTITUTION:When a strain inducer 2 for a load cell which has notches 7 nearby four corners of a rectangular frame body is manufactured, a rectangular body made of duralumin, etc., is machined to perform the primary finishing of the notches 7. Then, this primary product is tested and notches 7 which are less in the quantity of strain are corrected roughly by using a file. In the final process, the adhesive 9 such as epoxy resin whose strain rigidity is one figure less than that of the raw material of the strain inducer 2 is applied and overcoated or ground repeatedly over an adjustment test, thereby obtaining the target quantity of strain in the end.
