PURPOSE:To indicate the accurate humidity to users by connecting respective light emitting elements that indicate the present humidity by selectively emitting light with an element that controls the ON/OFF of a humidifying unit at a set humidity via multiple switches for setting the humidity so that the humidifier may be controlled by using the signal of the indicated humidity to eliminate the difference between the indicated humidity and the control. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when the power source switch 24 of a ultrasonic humidifier is turned on below the humidity of 30%, the humidification is started upon applying the voltage to an oscillating unit 13, a piezoelectric transducer 14 and a blower fan 7. At this time, the LED25 is being illuminated. When the humidity exceeds 35% by being humidified, the LED26 is also illuminated by the action of IC 34, and a signal is inputted to a transistor 38 via contact points of a humidity setting switch 30. The transistor 38 is electrically connected to the oscillating unit 13, and, when the signal is inputted to the transistor 38, the operation of the piezoelectric transducer 14 is stopped to case humidifying. Then, the humidity in the room gets lowered, and, when the LED26 is turned off, the humidification is resumed. In the case when humidity setting switches 31, 32 are pressed down, although the controlled humidification level is changed, the procedures remain the same.
