PURPOSE:To improve acceleration performance, by a method wherein, in an engine using different fuels, auxiliary fuel, containing a large amount of a low boiling point component, is fed during acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A carbretter 30, feeding main fuel (alcohole) containing a small amount of a low boiling point component, and an injection valve 25, feeding auxiliary fuel (gasoline) containing a large amount of a low boiling point component, are mounted to a suction system. When an acceleration state is detected by a throttle switch 33, the injection valve 25 is opened to inject gasoline. This enables improvement of response during acceleration.
