DETECTING DEVICE FOR MAGNETIC FIELD

PURPOSE:To detect the position of a mark which can not be judged visually by searching for a buried object body to which a permanent magnet is fitted by a detector which incorporates a magnetism sensing element formed by winding an exciting coil and a transmitting coil around a ferromagnetic wire. CONSTITUTION:The detector 1 incorporates the magnetism sensing element formed by combining the exciting coil 4 and transmitting coil 5 with the ferromagnetic wire 3 and is equipped with an exciting power source 6 and a display part 7 the ferromagnetic wire 3 is excited with an AC current from the exciting power source 6 and the measurement surface 8 of the detector 1 is moved along the surface of a wall 9 as shown by an arrow. Then, the body 10 to be detected where the permanent magnet 2 is added at depth X from the surface of the wall 9 generates an electromagnetic force to the detector 1 as shown in a figure, and this minimum point is observed on the display part 7 to search for the position of the permanent magnet 5 accurately.
