PURPOSE:To prevent hot water flowing out of the steam discharge port from sprinkling directly over a user who is taking warmth even when the main body falls, and also to prevent dew-condensed water drops from falling in drip form out of the main body even when the fan heater is operated for a long period of time, by disposing the steam discharge port at a lower part of a heater on the front surface of a main body case, and forming a non-watertight minuts gap on a cross line of perpendicular surface and a dew receiving part. CONSTITUTION:A steam discharge port 36 communicating with a steam generating portion provided within a main body case 20 is provided at a part lower than a heater and on the front surface of the main body case 20. In the steam discharge port 36, a steam opening hole 39 is formed on a perpendicular surface 38 and a dew receiving part 40 projecting from said perpendicular surface 38 to form a flat portion, and a non-watertight minute gap 41 is formed on a cross line of the dew receiving portion 40 and the perpenducular surface 38. Accordingly, dew-condensed steam is formed into water drops and suspended from the perpendicular surface 38 and falls in drip form onto the dew receiving portion 40. These water drops immediately penetrate into the minute water-tight gap 41 by a capillary phenomenon and are recovered to the inner part of the discharge port 36. |
