PURPOSE:To improve durability, decoration performance, and economic efficiency by specifically processing the surface on the peripheral edge of a window glass plate and making the fringing member fixed onto the processed surface from a specific kind of olefine group elastomer and fixing said member through insertion molding. CONSTITUTION:A window apparatus 1 is made by closing the opened part 6 of a chassis 5 having a finging member 4 fixed onto the periphery 3 of a window glass 2. In this case, the peripheral edge 3 is prepared by treating its surface 7 by silane-coupling agent, and the fringing member 4 fixed onto the treated surface 7 is made from the olefine group elastomer consisting of ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer and water-added SBS block copolymer as base polymer, and integrally fixed as heat-resisting and firm article through insertion molding. Therefore, durability, decoration performance and economic efficiency of the window apparatus 1 can be improved. |
