The method prevents interference between adjacent microphones and loudspeakers in a sound communication system. The method involves the sound frequency range being divided into at least two segments, with the microphones and loudspeakers only receiving and transmitting respectively sound within different frequency sections. The sound amplification factor in the two types of components of the system does not exceed 1 within the suppressed frequency section. Using a changeover operation, it is possible to provide the microphones with the frequency range originally allocated to the loudspeakers, and simultaneously to allot to the loudspeakers that firstly given to the microphones.
