PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an auxiliary machine driving gear in a water-cooled engine by winding a wrapping transmission means around a crank shaft, a water pump and an oil pump and making so that the setting position of the oil pump can be freely adjustable. CONSTITUTION:To a support plate 17 covering the side of an engine 2, a water pump 18 circulating cooling water to a cooling jacket 12 and an oil pump 19 supplying lubricating oil to a carburetor 6 are provided. A toothed belt 23 is wound around the pulleys 20, 21 of the water pump 18 and the oil pump 19 and the pulley 22 of a crank shaft 14. And the oil pump 19 is made to be capable of fixing at any position along a slotted hole 27 making a bolt 25 as a fulcrum so that the tension o the toothed belt 23 is adjustable. Thus, a special tension adjusting device becomes unnecessary and the mechanism can be made a simple and compact one with few constituent parts. |
