摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the velocity of detonation without working completed ordnance, etc., by utilizing the disturbance operation of a magnetic field caused by a detonation wave front and detecting this phenomenon magnetically from outside a body to be detected. CONSTITUTION:When the explosive is detonated by an electric detonating cap 3, its detonation wave is propagated to the other end of a detonation conduction wire 10. Coils 22a and 22b for magnetic field production are arranged coaxially around the detonation conduction wire 10 and outputs of coils 21a and 21b arranged at fixed points A and B are inputted to and stored in a transient phenomenon recording device 30. Then when the detonation wave reaches a trigger generating means 33, an easy-to-rupture conduction wire 34 interposed in parallel to a capacitor 35 fuses or ruptures to generate a trigger, so that an X-Y recorder 32 receives and record the output of a wave memory 31 on a time base.
