PURPOSE:To enable the uniform dispersion of ceramic powder in an uncured epoxy resin in high efficiency, by mixing ceramic powder to an epoxy resin or its organic solvent solution having a kinetic viscosity falling within a specific range at room temperature. CONSTITUTION:(A) An epoxy resin or a solution of epoxy resin produced by dissolving the resin in an organic medium (an aliphatic or aromatic compound, etc., free of functional group and preferably liquid at 0-100 deg.C) and having a kinetic viscosity of 0.1-1,000 poise, preferably 1-200 poise at room temperature is mixed with (B) ceramic powder, preferably silicon nitride powder derived from amorphous silicon nitride, having an average particle diameter of <=5mu, containing primary particles having a diameter of >=10mu accounting for >=10% of the whole powder and having an alpha-crystal phase ratio of >=90%. Preferably, the component B is pretreated with a surfactant or a surfactant is added in the mixing and dispersion of the components.
