PURPOSE:To obtain the titled formed article having high dimensional accuracy and giving a thick-walled formed article having decreased molding defects such as sink mark, etc., while keeping the characteristic properties of the base resin, by adding a specific fiber to a vinylidene fluoride resin and forming the mixture at an expansion ratio within a specific level. CONSTITUTION:A formed polyvinylidene fluoride compounded with <=30wt% fibers having fiber length of 0.1-10mm and foamed at an expansion ratio of 1.00-1.2. The vinylidene fluoride resin is a vinylidene fluoride homoploymer or a copolymer having a vinylidene fluoride content of >=50mol%, preferably >=90mol% and having a thermal decomposition temperature 370-380 deg.C. The fiber is carbon fiber having a diameter of 6-10mu.
