PURPOSE:To eliminate a loss time during an elevating bed descending, by taking out print substrates at every other one during the elevating bed ascending, and by taking out the remaining substrates during it is descending. CONSTITUTION:A substrate storage box 10 which has been shifted onto an elevating bed 1 by means of a conveyer 7 and fixed thereto, ascends by every pitch which is two times large as the vertical pitches of substrate holding grooves 12 to take out print substrates at every other one. When the elevating bed 11 comes up to its highest position, the print substrates remains in one half of the total number within the storage box 10. These remaining substrates are taken out one by one during the elevating bed 11 descending at the same pitches as those during ascending. When the elevating bed 11 returns its original position, all substrates in the storage box 10 have been taken out.
