PRODUCTION OF RUSTPROOF MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To make an inclusion compd. dispersible and to attain the increase of the rustproof performance by including the gasifiable rust preventives with reduced cyclodextrin thick malt syrup and mixing the inclusion compd. into a synthetic resin to mold the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A reductive terminal group of thick malt syrup of maltooligosaccharide is reduced nearly completely. This reduced thick malt syrup is mixed with cyclodextrin. The gasifiable rust preventives for steel are included by using this reduced cyclodextrin thick malt syrup. The produced inclusion compd. is washed with water, dried and made powdery. The powdery inclusion compd. is mixed with a thermoplastic synthetic resin such as a polyethylene pellet and the mixture is molded to a proper shape such as a film-shape. In the rust preventives obtained by this method, the gasifiable rust preventives mixed into the synthetic resin are slowly gasified and the specified rustproof effect is continued for a long period.
