PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of an optical path by forming a plate writing surface image projected to a field lens on the surface of a photosensitive body through an image formation optical system to be also used in common at the time of an original copying mode. CONSTITUTION:In a plate writing surface copying mode, the field lens 12 is arranged on a position C so as to be abutted or close upon/to an original platen 8. In a copying mode for an original set up on the original platen 8, the lens 12 is receded from said position. Then, the image of the scanned plate writing surface 1 is projected to the lens 12. The 1st mirror 13 is arranged in the vertical direction to reflect light obtained from the plate writing surface 1 in the horizontal direction, the 2nd mirror 14 reflects light obtained from the mirror 13 in the down direction and an image formation lens 15 forms the image of the plate writing surface 1 on the lens 12. The image formed on the lens 12 is transferred to the photosensitive body 7 at the same position as the original copying mode to form the image.
