PURPOSE:To execute a diagnosis of the own device by a program managed by a communication use CPU, by constituting the titled device so that a diagnostic means for executing a self-diagnosis is managed by the second central process for managing a communication means, and can be started through a communication line. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with a main CPU 1 for managing an operating system, a communication use CPU 2 for managing a communication use program and a device diagnostic program, a memory 3, and an input/ output device 4. The communication use CPU 2 is connected to a line 20, and based on a start signal related to a diagnosis executing command from a remote control panel of the outside, a diagnostic operation of the own device is executed. Accordingly, as for the communication use CPU 2, an idle time is long and a working rate is low, but the reliability for executing a self-diagnosis at a desired time is improved. Also, a parameter of the system can be checked without exerting an influence on the main CPU 1, and as for the communication use CPU 2, the possibility of a stall is low, therefore, the initialization is executed by a diagnostic program of the communication use CPU 2, and the device can be restarted. |
