PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-head player capable of reproducing plural information simultaneously by providing plural heads so as to reproduce information from a disk storing the information. CONSTITUTION:Four heads 2a-2d are spaced each 90 deg. apart from each other around the periphery of a disk 1. Signals reproduced by respective heads 2a-2d are amplified and demodulated respectively by separate reproducing circuits. Each of heads 2a-2d is designed so as to change its scan position by respective different mechanisms. Therefore, by scanning each of heads 2a-2d at different positions in the radius direction on the disk 1, four different information can be simultaneously reproduced from the disk 1. |
