摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the efficient printing precision by supplying the optimum amount of dampening water to a plate cylinder and to avoid the phenomena of the emulsification of ink or the like, by expanding the diameters of both ends of any roller constituting a dampening equipment. CONSTITUTION:Plural number of slits 41a, 42b are formed on the outer periphery of both end fringe pants of water transferring roller 28 and respective cylindrical parts 40a, 40b are radially expanded by the pressing force of fitting components 50a, 50b. Then, the expanded diameter parts 60a, 60b which are enlarged by a fixed amount of diameter are established. The excess portion of water film transferring from the water transferring roller 28 to a water averaging roller 30 is transferred toward both end sides of the roller 30. However, because the expanded diameter parts 60a, 60b are established onto both end sides of water transferring roller 28, the water film transferring to the water averaging roller 30 becomes to have a uniform water film thickness radially. Then, the water film transferred from the water averaging roller 30 to a water-attaching roller 32 is further transferred to a plate cylinder 34 and the water film layer of extremely uniform thickness is obtained on the surface of plate cylinder 34. Then, suitable printing is carried out via this water film and ink.
