The present invention relates to an outdoor unit for an air conditioner. The present invention is to provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner, including a base which can be commonly used for different shapes of heat exchangers. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the outdoor unit for an air conditioner includes: a cabinet including a suction panel; and the base installed on the lower side of the cabinet. The base includes: a base main body having a main body mounting unit on which a compressor is supported; and a frame unit arranged on the outer side of the base main body and having a frame mounting unit on which the heat exchanger is supported. The frame mounting unit includes: a first frame mounting unit having a first width (A) which is set in one direction, wherein at least a part of the heat exchanger is mounted thereon; and a second frame mounting unit having a second width (B) which is set in the direction, wherein the other part of the heat exchanger is mounted thereon. The second width (B) is wider than the first width (A). |
