<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensive form a color filter by providing a transparent resist pattern on a dyed thin org. film and removing the dyed thin org. film with said pattern as a mask. CONSTITUTION:A gelatin is coated uniformly as the thin dyeable org. film on a transparent substrate 10 consisting of glass, etc. and is dyed by a dyeing liquid having a prescribed spectral characteristic to form the dyed film 11. An acrylic resin is then used as a transparent resist and the transparent resist 12 is made to remain only in the part where a dyeing pattern is required by photolithography. The gelatin is ashed and removed by using oxygen plasma. The gelatin is then coated uniformly thereon and is dyed by a dyeing liquid having the necessary spectral characteristic as the 2nd color to form the dyed film 14. The acrylic resin is used as the transparent resist and the transparent resist 15 is made to remain only in the part requiring the 2nd color by the photolithography. The gelatin is ashed and removed by using oxygen plasma, by which the dyeing pattern 16 for the 2nd color is formed. The similar stages are thereafter repeated until the desired number of colors is obtd., by which the color filter is formed.</p> |
