PURPOSE:To simplify the operation by eliminating a complicated pre-processing, and also to reduce remarkably the generation of an error by providing a reference position storage means, a relative position calculating means, and a pattern expansion storage means. CONSTITUTION:In case a host computer 1 sends a data of a split area P1 first, a reference position Pa is designated. A control part 21 stores the position Pa in a reference position register 23. Subsequently, when the data of the area P1 is sent, the control part 21 brings the data to a pattern expansion, based on the position Pa to an image pattern expansion memory 25. At the same time, a relative position calculating part 22 calculates a size of an area of the expanded data, and holds the data between Pa-Pb, and Pa-Pc. Thereafter, whenever there is a designation by a relative position command, positions of reference points Pb, Pc and Pd are calculated successively, based on the previous pattern expansion, image data of split area P2, P3 and P4 which are sent continuously from said each position are brought to a pattern expansion to the memory 25, and the expanded pattern is outputted. |
