PURPOSE:To sufficiently and uniformly mixing two or more kinds of powdery specimens within a short time, especially, in the quantitative analysis according to an X-ray analytical method, by receiving two or more kinds of powders, a dispersing medium and a stirring medium in a container to rotate and shake all of them before volatilizing the dispersing medium. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of a substance to be inspected is weighed to be received in a mixing container such as a Tefron container and a predetermined amount of a known substance is subsequently weighed to be mixed with the substance to be inspected. Further, a dispersing medium (e.g., chloroform) and a stirring medium (e.g., 'TEFLON(R)' ball) are put in the container and the cap of the container is tightened and all of elements are rotated and/or shaken along with the container by a mixer mill and heated in a dryer to volatilize the dispersing medium to obtain a specimen mixture. Thus obtained specimen can be enhanced in its uniformity as compared with a dry mixing method. |
