APPARATUS FOR CONCENTRATING AND SEPARATING SOLUTION

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus capable of efficiently concentrating a liquid to be conc. by utilizing a capillary phenomenon, by vertically providing a porous rod body in a container in an up-and-down movable manner and storing the liquid to be conc. in the bottom part of the container to immerse the lower part of the rod body and providing a heating gas supply pipe to the container. CONSTITUTION:The storage part of a liquid 2 to be conc. is provided to the lower part of a container 1 comprising a room temp. corrosion resistant material and porous rod bodies 4 can be immersed in the liquid to be conc. so as to be made movable up and down through a support plate 7 and a connection rod 6. When heating gas 14 is supplied to a lower chamber 9 at first, said gas rises through the rod bodies 4 by a capillary phenomenon to heat the liquid to be conc. exuded on the surfaces of the rod bodies 4 and the volatile component of said liquid is evaporated to be guided to a cooler 11 where condensed to obtain a concentrate. The concn. of the concentrate can be adjusted by the temp. of the heating gas and the exposed height of each rod body 4.
