PURPOSE:To facilitate the totalization and analysis of data, by calculating the value of the total pressure at a measuring section at each time to maintain the total pressure at the value obtained by a feedback control so that the Reynolds number at the measuring section may be kept constant. CONSTITUTION:Air stored into an air storage tank 2 with a compressor 1 enters a measuring shell 6 through a collection shell 5 by opening a pressure regulation valve 4 to make a flow meeting the condition set at a measuring section 10 and released into the atmosphere through a diffusion shell 7. With such an arrangement, first, an approximate value of the total temperature in a measuring section 10 is calculated from the measured value of the total pressure in the tank 2 at each time within a specified time. Then, an approximate value of the total pressure in the measuring section 10 necessary for realizing the set value of the Reynolds number in the measuring section 10 is calculated from the calculated value. Then, to attain the calculated value, the measured value of the total pressure in the measuring section 10 is used to perform a feedback control for adjusting the opening of the pressure regulation valve 4. By the control method thus obtained, the Reynolds number at the measuring section can be kept at a set value within a specified time.
