PURPOSE:To make the construction work of underground structure easier as well as increase its resistance to soil pressures by a method in which a side wall is erected around a bottom wall of an outwardly projected conical form to build up an underground structure. CONSTITUTION:A bottom wall 2 is shaped into a conical shape being projected toward the outside of an underground structure, and a cylindrical side wall 3 is erected on the surrounding 21 of the bottom wall 2. Reinforcing ribs made of L-shaped steel material are set at a given interval around the side wall 3 and a reinforcing beam 4 is laid at nearly the center of the upper part of the side wall 3.
