PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber board being full of variety, by laminating more than two layers of fiber materials having different fiber properties and/or color in desired order and by desired number of layers. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a layer 1 and 2 are made of wooden fibers of a needle-leaved and a broad leaf trees materials respectively, the fiber board thus prepd. can be offered at lower cost than that of a fiber board of the same thickness made of only a needle-leaved tree material and the layer 2 is not exposed outside on the cut surface even if rooter processing or chamfering treatments are performed on the surface or the edge of the fiber board within the thickness of the layer 1 made of a needle-leaved tree material. The fiber board is therefore applied to the surface material of furnitures and so on. When the board is cut to the direction of the one dotted chain line (X) and the cut surfaces are put side by side on the same surface, a parquet like block or plate can be obtained.
