PURPOSE:To measure body heat accurately with a temperature display on the basis of a specified expression, by judging a temperature convergence from changes in the integrated value of the output of a temperature sensor when staying within a certain range for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:Upon the closing of a switch 24, a power source circuit 25 starts to actuates a logical circuit 26. An arithmetic circuit 29, first, asks a patient to made a setting as indicated by the arrow 17 on a buzzer 20 while setting an arithmetic type timer and informs of the start of measuring temperature with the buzzer 20 when the temperature variable (h) exceeds 34 deg.C as the output of a sensor 15 amplified 27 and converted 28 into digital from analog. Then, temperature is displayed 19 and a measuring time interval msec is set on the timer. The integrated value S of the temperature variable (h) is compared with the previous one detecting the increase therein and when the difference is below a specified value S0, namely, when the temperature T of the sensor 15 is equal to the body heat T0 of the patient, a display 19 is given. This enables the detection of the body heat free from malfunctioning.
