PURPOSE:To process both segments without changing an address information store area, by managing a cue table which is placed in two segments, by address information which has added a segment discriminating flag to an offset. CONSTITUTION:In case of a processor which can execute a word address, an offset is an even address and the lowest bit can be brought to an access by '0', therefore, it lowest bit is used as a flag store area for discriminating an extended segment. Accordingly, an address of each cue table NP sets the lowest bit of the offset to '0', when the store area is in a data segment 2, and sets a flag 1 to its bit, when said area is in an extended data segment 10. On the other hand, a cue managing table 16 is provided in the segment 2, and stores in advance a segment address of the extended data segment 10. By said flag, a process scheduler can know a store segment of the cue table, and it can be managed by one word address in the same way as one segment arrangement. |
