The invention relates to a method for operating an light-emitting assembly (100, 130) in different embodiments. The method involves: actuating a light-emitting component (120) using a first electrical energy, wherein the first electrical energy has a time course with a plurality of energy pulses; and actuating at least one electro-optical component (110) of the light-emitting assembly using a second electrical energy, wherein the second electrical energy has a time course with a plurality of energy pulses, wherein the time course of the first electrical energy and the time course of the second electrical energy are coordinated with one another in such a way that the transparency of the light-emitting assembly (100, 130) is substantially constant when changing the ratio of the light emitted in the main emission direction. |
