PURPOSE:To enable always constant appropriate photographic performance to be maintained by developing under specified conditions a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver chlorobromide emulsion as a silver halide emulsion, and a binder having a membrane swelling speed not above a specified value, and having a green-sensitive emulsion layer containing a specified magenta coupler. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide emulsion composed substantially of a silver chlorobromide emulsion, and a binder having a membrane swelling speed T1/2 of 2-15sec, and has a green-sensitive emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler represented by formula I. This photosensitive material is processed with a color developing solution containing an N- hydroxyalkylated-p-phenylenediamine derivative at >=30 deg.C for <=150sec. The smaller a concn. of silver bromide is, the more sufficient dye image can be formed even in a short time, and accordingly, a silver bromide content of 40-70mol% is most preferable. |
