PURPOSE:To enable the preservation of SAKE for a long period at normal temperature without degrading the unique taste and flavor of SAKE, by placing a nonferrous disoxidation agent in a space in a storage vessel filled with SAKE and sealing the opening port of the storage vessel with an oxygen-barrier film. CONSTITUTION:For example, a bottom-closed top-opened tank 1 used as the storage vessel of SAKE is filled with a prescribed amount of SAKE 2 and a stainless steel pan 3 is attached to the opening of the tank 1. A box-shaped container 4 free of lid and containing a prescribed disoxidation agent is placed at the center of the pan 3 or thereabout. The opening of the tank is covered with an oxygen-barrier film 5, which is fixed to the outer circumference of the tank 1 with a plurality of broad rubber bands 6 to keep the content of the tank 1 in an air-tight state. The inside of the tank 1 becomes oxygen-free state and the change of the SAKE components by the oxidation reaction is suppressed to the lowest possible level to enable the storage of SAKE at normal temperature for a long period without causing deterioration.
