The invention relates to a friction disc whose friction linings 11 are each fixed to an intermediate support 16 which fixing means, established between their peripheral outlines, connect to the support 10 of the assembly from place to place. According to the invention, spaced apart from these fixing means, the intermediate support 16 of a friction lining 11 locally comprises at least one boss 27, which projects axially over its running part 26, that part by which it is in engagement with the said fixing means, and at least one portion of the surface of which is adjoined by the friction lining 11 in question.
