PURPOSE:To simplify time-required operation for supplying recording paper from a manual feeding part which may be executed every printing of one side of a sheet of recording paper at the time of both-side printing of many recording sheets by printing even or odd pages collectively. CONSTITUTION:Picture information outputted from a host computer 1 is divided into odd pages and even pages, which are written in text memories 23, 24 respectively. The picture information in one memory is continuously read out and printed on one side of each recording paper delivered from a paper feeder 35, and after completing one-side printing of all recording sheets, all the sheets are collectively inverted and set up again on the paper feeder 35. At the depression of a recording paper restarting switch on an input panel 4, images stored in the other memory are successively printed on the other side of the recording sheets. When a detecting switch for detecting the inversion and reset of recording paper on the paper feeder 35 is formed, the detecting switch can be used also as a restart switch for recording paper. |
