PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for shifting the arrangement thus to improve the machining efficiency by providing beveling cutters conforming with the features of gear to be machined by same number with the gear on each cuter shaft of turret thereby beveling each gear thereafter deburring the gear at the opposite faces through deburring unit. CONSTITUTION:Machining column 21 is advanced in the direction of gear W to gear the first gear Wc with suitable beveling cutter 27. Then drive machine 13 is driven to rotate the spindle 5 and a gear W associated with shaft while coupled with the spindle 5 and a motor 22 is driven to advance the column 21 to preset stopper position and during this interval, the cutter 27 will roll while gearing with the gear Wc to perform beveling of the gear Wc. Upon lowering of saddle 29 to predetermined position, enlarged rod 36 will lift and the discs 34, 34 will deburr the gear while holding between them. Then a beveling cutter 27 suitable for second gear Wd of said gear W is selected to repeat the machining cycle similarly. Since arrangement is not required to be shifted, the efficiency is improved.
