The invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the water content of a gaseous atmosphere, of the type called a psychrometer, using two thermometric probes, one 8 termed "dry", the other 9 termed "wet". The probes 8, 9 measure the dry and wet temperatures of the gas to be measured, which flows from a first intake orifice 4 to a second suction orifice 5.
