PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when photographing a historical building or monument in a sightseeing area, a person or vehicle accidentally passing in front of a photographer is captured in an image and a method in conventional still-image photographing for detecting and removing a moving object that cuts into between a subject and a photographer cannot be used in panoramic photographing with an angle of view changeable.SOLUTION: When photographing a subject sequentially from different angles of view, image signals read out from the same reading region of an imaging device are sequentially synthesized to form a plurality of time difference image signals having a time difference. Using the plurality of image signals formed, a moving object different from the subject is detected in the photographed subject image. According to the detection results of the moving object, the plurality of time difference image signals are selectively used to synthesize an overall image of the subject photographed from different angles of view. |
