摘要 PURPOSE:To produce an aldehyde economically in high yield and efficiency with single-step reaction, by oxidizing a compound having olefinic C-C double bond with H2O2 using a catalyst consisting of at least one kind of heteropolyacid and/or its salt. CONSTITUTION:An aldehyde (e.g. glutaraldehyde) can be produced by oxidizing a compound having olefinic C=C bond (e.g. cyclopentene) with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a catalyst consisting of at least one kind of a heteropolyacid and/or heteropolyacid salt (salt of a metal of the groups I, II, III or VIII of the periodic table or salt of an organic base such as ammonium, amine, etc.) containing P, As, Si, B or Ge as the hetero-atom and Mo, W, Nb or V or their mixed coordination atoms as the polyatom and having a keggin structure or its analog. USE:Disinfectant, tanning agent, curing agent for microcapsule, etc.
