PURPOSE:To facilitate the position adjustment of a magnetic head by pouring and hardening the adhesives between a sleeve and a bearing bush after the position of the magnetic head is adjusted, deleting the play and simultaneously unifying the sleeve and the bearing bush. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 8 is contacted with a measuring plate 31 set at the constant position, and while the condition of the surface deformation of the measuring plate 31 is observed by an interferometer 32, the position and the attitude of the magnetic head 8 are made into the optimum condition. Thereafter, by pouring adhesives 28 between a bearing bush 24 and a sleeve 26, loosening adjusting screws 30a-30c after the adhesives 28 are hardened, removing a head carriage 10 from an adjusting stand 30 and making into the free condition, the head carriage 10 is fitted to the correct position for guide bars 13 and 14. When the magnetic head 8 is exchanged, the magnetic head 8 is removed for a supporting plate 9, a screw 27 is loosened, and a bearing bush 24 is pulled out from a guide bar 13 for a sleeve 26. Thus, the assembling efficiency can be improved and the stable quality can be maintained. |
