This device is of the type comprising a card 13 with a hole 14 for the head 9 of the hinge pin 7 connecting together the two arms 3, 4 of the tool to pass through. According to the invention the device is characterised in that it comprises a part 17 which is fitted to the head portion 9 of the pin projecting from the card on the far side from that on which the tool body is positioned, and the greatest transverse dimension of this part 17 is greater than the diameter of the hole 14 in the card.
