PURPOSE:To prevent a resin coated part from generating terminal exfoliation and/or floating, by closely attaching a backup plate, having an external shaped line with a slight distance apart from the edge point shaped line of a broach, to the final end surface in a moving direction of the broach. CONSTITUTION:For cutting a surface layer of coating resin 22, with which the surface of a main unit 12 is coated, to be finished, a broach cutter 48 is driven toward the bottom. Here a backup plate 26, being closely attached to a bottom end surface of the main unit 12 to support the coating resin 22, receives most of shearing force applied from the broach cutter 48, and the rest of the force is prevented from exceeding a limit of resisting force per sectional area of the coating resin 22. An external size of the backup plate 26 is formed smaller by a length DELTAl than the external size of the coating resin 22 after it is finished. In this way, the method enables exfoliation and/or floating to be decreased in the termination of the coating resin 22. |
