PURPOSE:To improve the result of processing by controlling gass pressure or injecting as assist gas for processing under and at the gaseous pressure and flow rate meeting processing conditions and the form of laser output. CONSTITUTION:A gas flow passage 15a is preliminarily set for piercing, a gas flow passage 15b for cutting by continuous laser output and gas flow passage 15c for cutting by pulse laser output. The signal from a control device which determines any thereof operations the solenoid valves 14a-14c of the respective gas flow passages to open the corresponding solenoid valve and to close the other solenoid valves. The regulation of the gas flow rate is executed by control valves 13a-13c. The closing degrees of the respective control valves are preliminarily set to the optimum conditions for respective cases while gas pressure gages or gas flowmeters 10 are monitored in the open state of the corresponding solenoid valve. |
