PURPOSE:To reproduce the easy-to-see continuous screen without any pause by providing plural still video floppy drives and displaying the video output from other drive while one side drive is tracking. CONSTITUTION:Out of pictures A, B, C, D, E ... recorded at the first video floppy set at the first drive 1, the picture signal of the alternate pictures B, D, F ... is successively dubbed to the second video floppy set at the second drive 2. After dubbing is completed, the pictures A, B, C ... are alternately reproduced from the first drive 1 and the second drive 2. While one side drive is tracking, other side drive executes the reproduction, and at a displaying means 4, the pictures A, B, C ... without any pause are successively continuously displayed. Such an action is repeatedly executed by a reading means 31 of a sunning program, a dubbing means 32, and a change-over synthetic means 33.
