PURPOSE:To enable operation without requiring removal of the guide or guides during repair of transportation surface or correction of its jamming with electronic parts by providing the upper guide installed over the transport surface with capability of opening and closing with respect to the transport surface of a transport rail. CONSTITUTION:An upper guide 23 is installed over the transport surface 22 in such a position as enclosing it. The guide 23 consists of a supporting piece 24 and a longitudinally stretching guide frame 25, wherein the supporting piece 24 is borne by a main frame 13 at its one side with a hinge 26 interposed. A long hole 28 is formed in said guide frame 25 oriented in its longitudinal direction to permit ocular inspection of the transport surface 22. The terminal 31 of a small-sized IC 20 is transported under guidance of the guide surface 34 and transport surface 22. Transportation of a large-sized IC 21 is so made that both sides of its body 32 are oriented alongside the guide face 36 of a recessed part 18. In the event of ocularly inspected IC jamming or wear of the transport surface 22, the upper guide 23 is opened to allow necessary countermeasure.
