PURPOSE:To reduce the level of impact noise generated at the time of printing, by charging a resin such as an urethane rubber into an inner cavity part of a pipe form platen and hardening the resin. CONSTITUTION:In a platen 1 comprising an aluminum alloy pipe 2 provided with a hard anodic oxide film 3 on the outer peripheral surface thereof, the inner cavity part 4 is filled with a resin such as an urethane rubber by casting, and the resin is hardened. Accordingly, the platen 1 can be provided with a sound-absorbing function, and the level of impact noise generated at the time of printing can be lowered. |
