The invention relates to a unit, by means of which preferably young children can be taught alpine skiing in a very short time. A belt is fastened around the hips of the learner, and a rope of approximately 5 to 8 m is hooked into it. This rope leads to a hand-held unit, with a built-in retracting and fixing mechanism for the rope. The hand-held unit is held by a trainer, who skis behind the learner at an adequate safety distance from the latter and can vary the length of rope and the speed of the learner by means of a retracting and fixing device on the rope reel, or can bring the learner to a standstill. |
